When to apply for other job?
My 401k fully vests and tuition reimbursement period happens June 2019 (I'll lose $15k if I leave before then). Current salary = $66k (corporate finance) I believe my market value = $80k My previous manager/friend told me that my company is matching offers. Do I run and grab one now or wait until June to do so? I've heard of companies offering bonuses to cover the tuition portion...?π€·πΌββοΈ
I recommend trying to line up another job right around June 2019. Soon as you best jump ship to send the company a message. They should be paying you more now, before you show them a better offer from another company.
Would you recommend staying working in defense, or try another industry?
I currently have 2 years XP at a tiny financial advising firm (operations), and will be 3 years in defense come June.
