TLDR: Rejecting verbal offer and applicant tracking showing Not moving forward (same as rejected by them) vs rejecting after written offer, making the applicant tracking show you got an offer. Thoughts? Experience? Recently, I went through some interviews with Microsoft, I got a verbal offer and rejected it. However, when I go to the career profile, the status says not moving forward, like no offer was generated. Now I wonder if the feedback will stick for future opportunities and if it matters rejecting then vs rejecting after the actual offer is generated. The same probably happens for every company. Thoughts? Experience? Tagging some companies: #micrisoft #apple #amazon #meta #airbnb #tech #uber #apple
Same with Meta. I rejected their offer and showing they rejected me. But my email thread is connected to the career profile and that shows that I rejected
You dodged a bullet here mate, don’t join the shithole that is Microsoft.
No lol. Every team at Msft does their own hiring. People get rejected from team 1 and interview and join team 2

in workday if you withdraw after initial recruiter screen. You still get a rejection email😂. Dont read into too much. In you case, cooling period still applies and hope you were not an 🫏 when you declined
