Where’s the “it’s not gunna” option?

Tech slowly climbed for 9 years after the resession before it reached 2019 levels. It will take several years again

Consider 2019 like the good old days. If you got to experience it, great but it will not return

Never, this is like car workers asking in 1980 when will the things get better. They might still be asking the same question, but half of them died waiting for an answer.

Watch the tech bubble get even bigger lol

Tech workers were not abused nearly as much as auto tho. Our bad days are still great days for auto workers.

From ~2015-2020 I felt like I was in La La bubble land. Shit was ridiculous. Perks, inflated TC, absurd spending of VC money, etc. As someone who was around pre-bubble, I always told myself: don’t get used to this and just appreciate it while it lasts. Now things are feeling more realistic tbh.

To all those saying never, AI is already driving the next tech boom, there are multiple posts on blind with people getting multiple job offers . Iv seen 3+ posts in the last 8 days, ofcourse im not trying to generalize but there will always be good and bad times and you have to choose wisely.

What is that AI boom driving, I wonder… 🤔

Goldman Sachs GingerHair May 7

Sure, millions of SWE jobs replaced by a few AI engineers, this is the next tech “boom”, yay !
