Should I marry a lazy girl?
I did bad at salary negotiation, and realized 50-70% lower than others at the same level. Will the company (tech company listed in NASDAQ) adjust salary over time when you did great at performance review? Will the manager/company evaluate the performance based on the leveling or would the salary be a factor to consider? I’m worry that we got the same performance review standard due to the same level but they got way more salary than me. Any experience can share? I signed the contract but I’m struggling in the fact I realized just recently. Don’t know should I fight or I just focus on work and that would pay back?
Talk to HR? If they're any good they should have salary bands and you may need to have comp adjustment to put you back inside of the band
Show your value to the company. I was in similar situation few years ago and I got 10% raise once and 7% raise the next year. Its all because of the kind if value I provided
You'll be evaluated using the same criteria as others at your level. You may see slightly larger increases because your TC is lower, but you'll never make up the difference.
In old days I would say find another job be cause if you are fucked in the first day, performance will never auto correct your total comp. But these days there are not many jobs.
This is a true TC or GTFO case.
No
How would you fight
No idea, thinking some options 1. withdraw the contract unless they adjust it. 2. ask how would that be because they mentioned that was the range? 3. Quickly get a competitive offer and use that to fight
