When you’re a google employee can you work at any campus you’d like?
Like say you work in MTV but you went to New York for a weekend. Could you just stay the week working at the New York location until you’re ready to come back?

Depends on team. My manager doesn’t give af as long as I finish my work. I’ve left for 3 weeks at a time before with no issues.
That's a pretty sweet and enlightened working arrangement. Kudos to you and your manager. I'd say that's quite rare at Google.
Yeah I do this regularly when traveling. My own feeling of being slightly less productive when working remotely is the only reason I don't do it really often. My manager is broadly speaking absolutely fine with it.
Why dont you just work from home or your hotel room in NYC
You can but google locations have free food and nice amenities. Why stay in the hotel or home
