Why I Find Free Palestine Inspiring
I worked at SAP for a year and then made the switch to Meta…for a 30% raise. TC aside, I worked on applied ML everyday and occasionally shipped models to production, though more often worked on model POCs. Anyway, at Meta I’m basically on-demand SQL service with hypothesis testing and market sizing (I hear this is a PM responsibility elsewhere.) Anyway, I miss thinking about ML, inferential statistics etc from SAP but not the pay cut. What are some good candidate companies for me to consider moving to?
Why not look internally at Meta - research data science, core DS, and other roles not DS analytics
Not a bad idea, actually. On that note, I’ve found dog shit for overviews of the CDS interview.
Many companies followed suit with the DS branding of analytics. You're looking for Research Scientist, Applied Scientist, and/or Machine Learning Engineer.
