Hi All, Firstly, I'm so glad to have found Blind and think all of you do an amazing job sharing key insights. I'm totally new to recruitment with FAANG companies and am currently going through a process with Amazon for an engagement manager role. I have no idea what sort of TC / level this role is, or where I would begin should the compensation conversation come up. I have 15 YOE in large private and public organisations in strategic and complex program delivery. Super excited at the prospect of joining Amazon if the offer comes through! Currently have a base salary of $300K - No Bonus / No equity
What does an engagement manager engage?
Engages customers by running the delivery of multiple project teams end to end ensuring they hit the mark with time, budget and satisfaction
how is this not project management or program management?
I don’t think you’ll get close to 300 even with stock at Amazon...do you know what level?
They haven't mentioned level at all to date. To put it in perspective, this is 300 in AUD which is about 200 USD
You should state that in your OP. Just assume the entire internet is American
Dang dude I doubt a Sr Engagement Manager gets 300
That’s a concern :/
