Two years from now = EOY 2021 Keep in mind two things: 1) Consensus is that we are overdue for a recession (yeah, yeah I know) 2) AMZN stock barely gained 10% last year (currently ~$1770) I’d make this a betting pool but I think most of us here already have money at stake, whether it’s through RSUs, index funds, or a 401k. AMZN employees: Are your future TCs what you really think they are?
Entire money supply of US
That’s a hell of a stock price. But then again, cocaine is also a hell of a drug.
It’s an interesting question whether a recession hurts amazon or helps them. It could just end up driving more of their competition out of business since nearly everyone else has weaker supply chains, costs of physical retail space, etc. A recession could very well solidify Amazon’s retail dominance even further.
Fair point.
If AMZN stock doesn’t meet target growth they promised to grant us more shares, so let’s see if they keep that promise
Was it written in the offer letter? How can I find the target compensation. Nothing about target compensation is written in the offer letter.
You don’t actually know your target until you have annual compensation review with manager
PE is around 80 1-day shipping will not be a catalyst for stock growth like 2-day shipping was in prior years Walmart and Target are in better position to compete than previous years when they were running around like a headless chicken AWS margins are heading south. This is a direct correlation to competition from Azure and GCP. Both do not have a low margin business to prop up (retail) The stock will trade sideways, between 1400-1900 for a couple of years? PE is just too damn high.
Need one more divorce to tank the amzn stock.
