Lending club is headed down. I'd definitely rate Prosper higher if that's the competition
Upstart
Depends on the valuation they are claiming. They have had a few stop starts in the earlier incarnation but the last few years have been steady.
Upstart is carving a niche in the RE flip business. BestEgg too but I don’t have any direct knowledge of them. LendingClub owned this space years ago and ceded huge grown. Once that happens it’s hard to return. Just ask Tivo.
Right where it shld be, no where!
Focus on companies with good software that can be extended beyond their core offering. Most exits will probably happen by bank acquisition rather than IPO. Banks want software
And don’t bother with anyone that brags about machine learning in underwriting. In fact, run far away.
Yes. This sounds great. Thanks man.
First thing I thought when seeing LC was leetcode lol wtf is wrong with me
I'm bullish on the overall FinTech space. Make sure you understand what's unique about their offering. It's a pretty crowded space. Curious to see what rising interest rates brings.
