Already set my LinkedIn profile to looking for opportunities a couple of days ago. I was wondering if it would be better to just apply to jobs directly through company websites or hitting up recruiters on LinkedIn. I'm looking for opportunities at companies such as Apple, LinkedIn, Meta, Salesforce, Airbnb, Uber, Nvidia, etc. #tech
Depends on the company. Some companies respond well to online applications. Some companies to referrals. Some companies prefer reaching out to you. I can refer you to the Hired platform for your profile to be promoted. You can also do the same on Angellist or other hiring platforms.

It’d be funny if u get spammed by amazon recruiters
Pretty normal. I got spammed by HM a lot too
I didn't find referrals to be very useful when they came from a random person. I just applied online and interviewed at the following places: Google, Meta, Amazon (I ghosted the recruiter), Spotify, Square, Bloomberg, Argo AI, Nuro, Plaid, Ramp, Brex, Rippling, Asana, Gusto, Two Sigma, etc. I was pretty surprised that I didn't need a referral for 99% of my interviews. Maybe the market is very hot rn.

Expedia CTO fired due to violation against company policy
Just curious. The domain at Nvidia is completely different from all other companies you mentioned. Mostly they have EDA roles?
