Which Indian wedding style is the most beautiful, interesting, and elegant?
A few days ago, I had a conversation with my two Bengali friends. One of them recently attended a wedding. I was so curious and I asked him questions like, 'Do you really lift the bride on your shoulder?' My friend was curious because I had knowledge of some Bengali rituals. He provided more information. Later, they asked me how I knew, and my answer was 'Devdas' movie. In India, each state has a different wedding style. Which one is most interesting and do you have a memory of any state? It would be great to learn about different wedding styles in India. If I miss your state, apologies, but please share your wedding memories.
I don't think we should continue doing these lavish marriage ceremonies as the divorce rates are on the rise. Also the rates are even higher for someone who uses a username like OP. OP, you should do a small register marriage or in a temple to be safe.

I am not willing to change my username due to the opinions of others. If other people decide my username, then I will not be free and there will be lots of pressure. Punjabi and Sikh are almost same. Most of the celebration style originates from Sikh marriages. It has become so fashionable that lot of cultures now use it. Dancing, mehndi, wearing chura after marriage, cocktail parties all came from the rich farmer families of punjab.
Indian oligarch wedding style is most elegant.
