Which companies are hiring PMs and at what level? Program, product, and/or project - I’m indifferent. My friend said Meta is hiring like crazy, & Nvidia might be hiring as well. Anyone there have any insight? Anyone at other tech companies care to share? TIA Tc 127k Yoe 1.5 #block #square #apple #google #atlassian #salesforce #spacex #tesla #stripe #cruise #robinhood
PM = Product Manager. Not program or project. Very different things.
Forgive me father
Anytime Son!
Product manager is totally different than program or project manager. You might be indifferent but company definitely is not. For product manager Google is hiring mostly L6 and L7
PM, the last vacancy to be filled and the first to be fired in this & every downturn
I’m currently interviewing for a PM job at a small startup. The salary may not be great, but I have not had luck getting interviews at big tech companies as I’m trying to switch career. Would you take the startup job even if it’s less pay just to get the experience and title then apply at big tech?
For me I think it would depend on scope and the startup- like if they’re well known and you think they’re economic stable.. but most likely I’d take it for 1-2 yrs
