The thing I like about Google is it is quite enjoyable to use the internal infrastructures. I don't care for other perks since I don't have much free time to enjoy them. Wondering what other companies have good infra? Netflix? I know fb is very hacky. TC. Low 200's Yoe 9
NETFLIX is in AWS ..

I find sometimes the resources available outside the company (bazel, tensorflow, k8s, grpc) are better than the tools you're using inside.
Do you mean serving/public-facing services infra or developer tools/seti type internal infra?
I mean Internal dev tools
Google is an engineering company and is large enough to invest in building good internal tools. Many companies don't have that "economy of scale". But you also have very little ability to deviate, and there is more process overhead to deal with. I'm so tired of having to learn yet another open source package to create a multilayered house of cards to get my code deployed. I think at larger companies you spend higher percentage of your time coding.
LinkedIn is a mixed bag, some great, some meh

You don't have free time? I thought Google had good wlb what's going on ?
varies by team as it does at every company
