I’ve only been at a few and feel MS tops it. Medical is covered, we have Perks+, back up care programs, 24 mental health sessions, career coaching, 401k match. I may be living in a bubble though and curious if there are other places even better.
Dude Amazon perks are unparalleled. Watch it lead the polls.
😂
As far as big tech goes I don't think anyone beats Meta healthcare. It's amazing. Parental leave I think quite a few companies have 6 months as opposed to Metas 4. Moms get another 2 with FMLA. 21 days PTO is also great. What other important benefits are there?
I think medical, perks, back-up care, Lyra, free food, etc are all pretty standard in big tech, right? Except Amazon, obvi.
We've lost some of our benefits at Meta recently. The wellness money got combined with the childcare money and decreased. There are fewer off sites and the massive parties were ended. I think baby cash is going away. We do still have 21 days of PTO (plus 2 choice days), unlimited sick time, bereavement leave, etc. And a month off for recharge every 5 years is pretty great. Also, our lactation rooms are AMAZING.
This will be a shocker but GM… yes really, they have 12% 401k match. 8% match and 4% retirement. Discounted lease and discounted cars. If you are higher level you get free cars also.
Hmmmmmmmmm Do they have any remote positions?
I truly belive Nvidia should be on the list. Completely remote and ESPP with 24 month look back adding to all the other regular big tech benefits, plus 8 days company wide off and ivf etc support too
Not sure if this matters to everyone but Nvidia covers 100% ivf and surrogacy benefit on top of everything else. That’s around $200k benefit
Apple has the worst by far. 6 weeks non birthing parental leave. Friends at other FAANG get several months ..
Salesforce. I'm currently on 6 months of paternity leave.
