^^ When I was reached by a Google recruiter, I was not interested in Android, Pixel, GCP teams or SRE roles. Have never been thought I’m actually on a very interesting team (Stores) in Amazon.

All big corps are boring imo. Maybe Apple has some interesting work since they’re not as bloated?

Historically, it's been easier to get into teams working on really interesting projects at Amazon. And there have been a lot of them. Google and Meta certainly have those teams but they have been smaller and hard to get into from external hiring.
