I’m moving to a new apartment next month. I’m currently in Seattle. The apartment has 3 options for the internet provider. 1. Comcast/Xfinity 2. CenturyLink 3. WAVE I’d like to use giga internet for sure because I play games on my PC. However, giga internet plan for all these 3 providers are 24 month contract thing. It seems like they all have the early termination fee. $230 for xfinity and $350 for WAVE at least. My apartment lease contract is 1 year only. What should I do? Google will pay for the monthly home wifi service fee anyway, but I hate this early termination fee 😂 Is it waived if I still keep with the same internet provider (if the service is still available at the new area) when I move to a different apartment? TC: $250k
Agree, never Comcast
Century Link by long shot. 1 Gbps Fiber for 65 a month. I complained about how long the setup was taking and said I was going to call Comcast and they dropped it to 55 a month. Went 3 years and don’t think they had a single outage. Have Xfinity at my new place. More expensive and seems like every week there is packet loss for a decent part of the day.
Centurylink is so good
Wave (astound)
100% centurylink gig fiber
Verizon home internet has arrived to the east side, not sure if it’s in Seattle already. Also t mobile home internet has arrived too
It is in Seattle
Ziply Fiber 1Gbps is awesome.
Bandwidth is limited by website only. No disruption observed so far.
Use t-mobiles Hotspot thing. It works pretty damn well Also tc brah, cmon now.
Why would you use a hotspot when you could get fiber. c'mon now.
Can you really get fiber in Seattle? Id pay good coin for fiber if that was an option
Anything but Comcast. Wave is so much better. Comcast will scam you.
Never comcast
