Blind has actually gotten less toxic. I remember a year or two ago people would write the most vile and hateful things here.
the reason blind is more toxic than the other is because in the others people are either actually smart and they know it (quora) or dumb and they know it (reddit). but in blind, people are fucking dumb and they think theyre smart (including me). this means that people are giving bad advice confidently. destructive.
^^^ this so much, everyday everyone in topics thinking the financial world, housing, and their relationship is all going to crash. Working for FANG or tech or high tc doesn't make you smarter than anyone else.

Reddit, on average, is the least toxic place on the Internet. Sure, there are toxic subreddits. But theyāre contained and you know what youāre getting into when you go to them. Everywhere else, the ability to downvote trolls + heavy moderation remove incentives to troll. Quora isnāt toxic, it just attracts people who like to hear themselves talk.

Isnāt what you just said cesspool already? Plus tons of trolling, ignorant, hateful top comments, and nudity, bot top comments flying in almost every popular public account. If you ever make your account public you will get more of less these things too.
