I answered American because I have elite status with them. If I didn’t have any status, probably Alaska or JetBlue
Depends on location. Seattle - Alaska Bay Area - Southwest
Delta is the best, but they started dividing passenger classes into way too many boarding zones (9 of them, I think). Basically, they are the most expensive airline - and I can see why. They deserve it. Their food on international routes is bad. Southwest is the second best. They are also as expensive as Delta, and are mostly a no pretentiousness airline - that's what I like about them. United is a hit or a miss. But they provide international connections. Their food on international routes is excellent. American is the airline you book when there are no other options. Alaska - if this is the only option, I just cancel my trip instead. Racist piece of shit. Thankfully Delta now offers most routes where Alaska used to have monopoly. Never travelled by JetBlue and all other low cost airlines don't belong to this league.
Expensive? All flights are $5.60 if you use credit cards right.
Southwest for unlimited reschedules
Jetblue has the largest amount of legroom. Flights are always either on time or early and rescheduling/canceling was also easy even pre-pandemic. Only downside is they don't fly everywhere.
spirit. your adventure starts the minute you get to the airport
Does america have an airline that doesnt suck? Legit question
All domestic airlines in all countries suck in some way or the other. Profit margins are so tiny in airline business.
I find all domestic flights to be basically the same. Sit in a seat to go from point A to point B. That's all that matters. International flights tend to be the ones where I start caring about the experience.
