Which new grad offer should I choose?

Have an offer from apple for around 150k and an amazon subsidiary for around 180k. I know apple scales better because of refreshes and Amazon doesn't give refreshes or bonuses. Which offer should I take. How fast can my TC grow if I go to apple?

Refreshers only matter if you plan to stay in the company for a while. As a new grad, you're likely to jump within a next few years so choose the place where you feel like you'll grow the most.

true but if promotion is fast and comp is good, I don't mind staying for a while

That was my thought coming into LinkedIn also as a new grad. I intended to leave a year or two in. But now I'm almost 3 yrs in and my total comp is around 275k, which I think would be hard to even get a match for outside of FB/G with my years of experience.

Go for Apple.

Any reasons?

Apple has better brand value. More options to work on. What are your factors? With Amazon you are stuck for 3 years due to vesting. Apple if you don’t like you can change anytime.

Apple would probably be a bigger buff on your resume but I would guess Amazon is not that far off
