Have two offers right now both for full stack engineer position Adobe 125k/25k/7% per year + 5k signon, San Jose ServiceNow 120k/16k/10% per year, Santa Clara YOE: 1.5yr Aside from comp, which company has better culture/growth/future?
Adobe has great culture and good WLB. Also Adobe provides good benefits and great ESPP. Annual refresher is also good based on my experience. BTW, which team will you join in Adobe?
Creative cloud, how much can you make from ESPP each year?
15% of your base salary, up to 21500+ per year. The purchase price can be fixed for 2 years. For my case, I made more than 40k per year from ESPP.
Adobe's culture highly depends on team. Some teams have good leader and good WLB, some teams have back stabbing and creadit stealing culture. Overall lots of political fight. Think twice.
The team I’ll be joining has lots of ppl that have 10+yrs with adobe, should I be worried?
Yes, I will definitely not join a team like this at Adobe. If the other offer/package is similar, definitely take the other one.
