Which summer internship opportunity would be better overall?

IBM - Client engineering/ Business Technology Leader (Tech Sales) Nike - Digital Product management First year t-15 MBA student recruiting for tech field. Long term goal is work from home for some time after graduation due to family stuff and both companies offer that in the respective roles Product management for a renowned company would be a dream come true however compensation for IBM is 2K more than Nike (just for the internship). Im Thinking what would Help me in the long run? In my opinion i think you can sell product management experience to any company but not sure about the experience in IBM. Would love all your inputs here.

2k annually? That's nothing if it helps you break into product management. Once you get that title, it opens up doors at other places

Both are completely different careers. Project yourself 10 years ahead and look back - will you feel better you took tech sales or product. Both have good compensation but very different skills and work lifestyles. Then pick the one you feel more inclined towards. You'll get another shot once you graduate, but do this exercise now to understand yourself better. If you don't know what either career will look like 10y down, talk to a few people in both careers - you'll have enough alumni in both professions.

I’ve done dev and worked very closely with product. I’ve also done client engineering, pre and post sales. I say do the role you least interested in for your internship to help you decide what you want to do on graduation. Dm me for questions
