Im a recruiter for Meta and were actively hiring right now for senior SWE positions (backend full stack ML mobile and specialized skill sets) Im wondering which companies are good to target candidates from. If meta isnt for you i get it, but cant deny that compensation and career advancement and benefits are good especially if you dont already come from faang DM me if you are on the market for a new opportunity
I find a lot of people are unhappy at Meta. Would suggest you target Meta, but, well, you already know this. 😂
Are u guys hiring in singapore ?
dude the tech market in Singapore is pretty awful to say the least. Geez - what happened there?
In sg now either u do crypto or chinese comp. Can jump to tiktok for a higher pay but had miserable exp with chinese companies before
Goldman. Recruit us, we’ll be running to Meta with tears of joy
Lyft has/had some good talent but the company is falling apart.
Robinhood
Maybe this doesn’t qualify under tech, but there are going to be many SWEs in California and Seattle looking for roles after AT&T has announced that all of our roles are moving to Dallas or Atlanta in the next couple years. Most I’ve spoken with don’t plan to make the move.
That stinks. In a way, it’s similar to Amazon’s Return-to-Hub policy change, but a corporate consolation typically has a severance package around it. Amazon, on the other hand, rebrands it as Return-to-Hub so they are, in their own minds, using it as a PIP for “performance reasons” so to not pay severance. Obviously the Amazon situation only really applies to SWEs who were originally hired to sit in one hub but now are forced to move to another hub. You definitely are right in the sense that AT&T news probably won’t get the same attention as tech companies. Lots of good people will be on the market.
VMware, pending broadcom acquisition
