Who is actually hiring?
Looking for a Technical Program Management position I see lots of openings on LinkedIn but not sure if companies are actually hiring. Recently impacted by layoffs any referrals would be appreciated looking for referrals #uber #workday #block #oracle
Expedia will likely start external hiring soon...they need TPMs and business is doing well.
Still hiring for backfill roles and some others but there’s rumors of a reorg soon which may be slowing down hiring. In the last week I’ve seen like 5 new hires for technical roles in the slack channels though.
bloomberg is crazy hiring
Is Bloomberg really good? I've been interviewed with them two times in the past and the interviewers were the worst.

Microsoft for sure. Some Amazon divisions are still hiring but fired employees are lined up and most likely those roles are kept internal hiring only

Can you tell me how much experience does a Senior Software Engineer require. I found a relevant role but there no mention of YOE. (PS: I'm a new Grad with ~2 years experience.)
Senior is usually around 5yoe.
Ahh okay. Do you know if they are hiring for anything of in my experience range?
Yes. There are a bunch of roles open for that level of experience. Also, if you apply for something that you are not senior enough for, it’s possible that the recruiting team will match you up with a different req that is a better fit. Good luck!
