I never understood who buys stuff on ebay given amazon has taken over all the retail. Dont know how ebay even exists still. Tc 290k
eBay is for low volume, variable condition items…
I think eBay is a solid second hand marketplace. I don’t buy a lot of used stuff but it’s where I go if I consider as is trusted. Its also a solid place for scalpers to sell things in low supply like PS5, etc. I prefer it to offer up and fb marketplace because I don’t need to interact with anyone… and people pay top dollar for that as well as for the peace of mind of buying at a trusted place, last year I sold an old MacBook that Apple offered me $60 as trade in for $500. Like Abbot said, I’d been an user for a long time but I just use it like once a year or so…
I do. There are some products that I don’t find at Amazon that I find at ebay.
Example ?
one example is camry 2005 sunvisor clips
I have made just 1 purchase on eBay in the last 6 years and that too a Nike shoe which I wasn’t getting anywhere with an exorbitant price
What’s ebay
Second hand items. Used/like new/open box physical games, game systems, electronics, collector items, etc
I buy used stuff on there all the time... Works great!
I bought a network hub from the 90’s on eBay a couple of years ago. EBay is a good marketplace if you want to buy such souvenirs from the past.
Sometimes you get better deals on products. These are mainly individual sellers who have scored free gifts and want to sell them on eBay for a little discounted price via retail price.

I think ebay is great for hard to find items, or items that are no longer being sold in retail. That being said I have been a member for like 18 years and have made only about 30 purchases during that time. I too go to amazon or other retailers first, and have very specific criteria for when I turn to Ebay.
