My guess is Google. Ad revenue in a binder due to increased pressure to bring ios like privacy rules to Android Hardware division has been failing for 10 years now Waymo won't start making real money for another 5 years Gcp growth already slowing down and dont have a good reputation among developers Amazon could also happen They are known to do 5% annual pip even in good times All these tech startups crashing will result into decreased aws revenue Retail unit still operates at a loss Too many acquisitions and investments has company finances thinly spread. Cant have it all. 🍌 Will probably run out of people who would want to work there from engineering to warehouse workers by 2025 Ex-amazon managers already have bad reputation in the industry.

Why is our country owned by Israel? I don't want my tax dollars fund genocide. How can we stop this nonsense?
Remindme! Two months
I really don’t think Google would do a layoff. Aggressive pip maybe but they’ll really wanna save the name
Only thing Google lacks is operating as an enterprise company. They have very good engineers who can create a better public cloud than aws within 2 years. But they are very condescending to others, especially their own gcp clients. Hope things change. Same for hardware division. They have been dragging their foot for too long.
“Within 2 years.” Tell me you have never worked in cloud without telling me you have never worked in cloud
Every week before quarterly results I am sleepless, that's MSFT
I feel Microsoft is the safest among all. But yeah c suite loves to make investors happy by cutting 10% of cost and increasing work load of remaining by 11%. Too juicy a deal to pass. But we are all in tech for $$ and made too much fun of liberal types who call out billionaires. We all have it coming and we will deserve it.
1 Qtr it was my stakeholder team, 2 Qtr my team....its scary
No layoffs, we must protect our prestige!
Soon we will all work at McDonalds
Google will be the last to do it and will only do it because everyone else would have done it and it seems like the right thing to do.
i wish man -- we've been following meta , so i am expecting layoffs
What's the future of all the people marked as "support check-in" at Google? Instant PIP? Layoff? Or actually give support and hope they perform in next cycle?
We will go for 50% next year when the Broadcom deal closes.
Startups crashing won’t impact AWS revenue because startups are not big billers. If anything, AWS and GCP will benefit from a down economy because it will apply pressure in the enterprise to accelerate cloud migration to reduce capex spend and realize cost savings.
I always think of Azure being big on Enterprise and AWS within tech industry. Microsoft already has Partnerships with these big billers, who also mostly use windows server. Microsoft wins both ways.
You’re right in the relationship point. MSFT has the ultimate enterprise pipeline. They’ve been doing it longer and better than anyone and that very well could be a big reason they win long term. Another point…not many corps use windows for cloud…azure cloud is something like 70%+ Linux based workloads anyways.
Add Salesforce to that list. Unfortunately our company size doubled in a very less time which will eventually lead to this since this is a new norm for every CEO now and save their reputation
How’s sentiment internally? Are people worried?
Sentiment is down and mostly people aren’t certain of what will happen
No way it'll be Amazon when they basically voluntarily lay off 5% every year. This is like every tech company is getting their hand chopped off and Amazon is laughing maniacally because they chop off a finger every year already
If you don't like the discussion FO. The whole craziness around TC is why most of us here aren't happy. It's just a way to measure "social status". I refuse to participate in it from now on.
