Asians - what are your thoughts on asian female white male ?
Well it won't be Verizon given the billions they wasted on GO90.
Well it appears when VZ loses money they double down and buy Yahoo so they can lose more money. Go90 is such a joke.
Yea it's like I said that and VZW said "hold my beer".
Who cares
You do. Or at least, you should. :)
Microsoft already tried once (for ~$45B) and there are rumors floating around that MS is talking to private equity firms about contributing to a buyout.
No please no no no
My guess is Microsoft
Is Y! up for sale again?
The only 'confirmed' bidders (via anonymous sources to different press publications) are Verizon, Yellow Pages, TPG (pe firm), The Daily Mail, Bain Capital / Vista Partners (pe firms), Apax (pe firm), Apollo (pe firm) and Warburg pincus (pe firm). Comcast, Time, Microsoft, Google, SoftBank, Alibaba, Rakuten and a few others originally had expressed interest but did not submit bids by the first round deadline. It's rumored that of the first round bids Verizon's was the highest.
So as it stands as of today the most likely is Verizon.
how much did Verizon offer? I am very long in YHOO stock, having bought at peak, losing a bunch right now. Waiting for the stock to get back up based on some good offer.
Your mom!
Microsoft.
Just tried opening yahoo.com from IE. It's been 2 min, the page is still loading. Not saying this to offend Yahoo or MS folks, but wow. There's a lot of work to be done.
When you get me my Amazon Prime deliveries in less than two minutes, then you can complain.
I'm not buying Yahoo!
It will be some private equity firm who will come in and dismantle it and sell the parts.
