Any salesforce architects, devs, PMs, etc etc making over $250-300k TC? If so, how did you get there? Currently implementing Marketing Cloud for clients at an agency @ $130k base but have a decent dev background and sales/service/commerce cloud experience. Curious what education moves I can make to make a big jump in comp. 4 YOE in Salesforce #tech #salesforce
Spoke with a SF recruiter about a SF Architect role a few weeks ago. $180k base was beyond their budget.
Non sense. I'm a manager and have seen the salary band for Architects. Base is around 250k, bonus is 25%. Total comp is easily in the 500s
I think the “architect” CloudBees is referring to is a Technical Architect. In which case it’s true because it’s not engineering. They’re the professional services team under Customer Support org
IN Salesforce or AT Salesforce? Working at Salesforce I think there’s a ton of people well above $250k TC. No idea about working IN Salesforce ecosystem though.
Lookup salaries that they have paid to employees by googling a title of the position and type LCA (Labor Condition Application). The LCA is supposed to be open and available to the public. You will see the amount and titles they have paid to their employees. Some might differ b/c of location.
Salesforce devs smts and above, managers and architects everyone makes more than 250k (sfo)
Smts and above make more
What is smts, are they salesforce platform developers or are they developers who build the salesforce platform?
SWE levels are as follows (in order): Intern AMTS = Associate Member of Technical Staff MTS = Member of Technical Staff SMTS = Senior Member of Technical Staff LMTS = Lead Member of Technical Staff PMTS = Principal Member of Technical Staff Architect Principal Architect Distinguished Architect You can check levels.fyi to see where these map in comparison to say FAANG. These are devs that build the platform itself, or manage the underlying infrastructure, etc.
I made slightly over 400k as PMTS before I left earlier this year
Where did you go and what is your level in the new company? Curious to know which level pmts maps to..
I make over 300k as an L3, not uncommon to see L5 Salesforce architects probably making 500k-1M here
I’d be making that range if I moved from Geo C to Geo A. Pretty close now: Base 170k Bonus 33k after spot RSUs 40k/yr PM with 5 YOE
I'm a dev (MTS) $185k base. I'm located in Bay Area
