Have you noticed Glassdoor salary estimate are so off compared to what folks post on blind ? It is ironic that Glassdoor verifies the post😂 Thoughts ?
Thanks so you are inferring that in couple of months salary difference is 4-5 times in some cases even million times
Not sure what you're saying, but glassdoor data seems to reflect what market standard was 2-3 years ago. Probably because 1) A lot of people reported 2-3 years ago and 2) people are afraid of violating their NDA by stating their offer, so they wait a year to obfuscate it.
Glassdoor salary data is stale and there is no organizational effort to revamp internally as it doesn’t make us money! I’d rather trust Paysa or Blind more when it comes to Salary.
Okay thanks make sense as I was wondering they pay so much for SEO that in searches they come first
Main reason I low-balled myself when moved to the US years ago. Glassdoor numbers have been way off.
I find it's only good for up to 3 yoe, and that's if there hasn't huge pay increases for your role, like it has in the Bay area for many roles past decade.
I found Glassdoor base estimates to be accurate everywhere except Bay Area and Seattle.
Agrees. Base estimates are good. The rest is trash between old data and rtards who can’t report their comp properly.
Glassdoor isn't even close but great for new hires
Check the year references for a specific salary. Some pages are reporting from 2008/2009 or before
Glassdoor is backloaded with old data.
