I saw a free banana stand in Amazon campus. Why do Amazon employees like bananas?? Does it represent anything? I also see one in Amazon logo. #tech #faang

Bananas being frugal isn’t related? Or is it just a happy coincidence?
It’s more of a brand thing with the logo than being frugal. Frugal would be no handouts which is the norm for everything else. Even our employee discount is a joke. I’m surprised we have free coffee/tea/water in the buildings.
Internally amazon employees are referred to as minions by top leadership - and we all know what’s their favorite food - it’s an inside joke within the top leadership of Amazon. Minions seek to work for the most evil person alive - aka Bezos. It all fits. ^ above is lighthearted fiction - please don’t report or @ me.
