Why are Indian sweets so sweet?
Holy fuck they are so sweet. Sweeter than candy I feel diabetic after eating just one rasgola wtf, it’s literally dripping sugar syrup

Those are disgusting. The texture is horrible. How anyone eats a second after eating the first is beyond me.
There are variations.
Just don't eat it then, nobody is forcing you to eat it.
Rasgola is as sweet as pecan pie..sometimes I find pecan pie even sweeter. But no offense to any of them i love them both
There is like a gazillion sugar in some of them. And that particular dessert is actually soaked in sugar syrup. You can get a rush for sure. Also to differentiate, some Western desserts have cocoa which suppress the sweetener. I am a dark chocolate lover. Rest is too saccharine for me.
