When you buy a business or start a new business you look at the expenses and how much cash you have to know how long you can run the business. In case of Twitter it seems that Elon just jumped in without any clear analysis and then acted without any working plan and understanding the human cost of his decisions. It is great to have leaders with sharp vision but a leader who does not understand human cost of their decisions is not a leader worth following. Wish all Tweeps the best.
Rumor is Elon may buy Meta
What an original take bud. You should be a writer.
Elon liked the idea of buying Twitter, made an offer jokingly, and Twitter accepted it, and he didn’t realize he was in too deep and it was legally binding. He was forced to go through with it, when he never really intended to buy Twitter all along. Now he’s making a lot of decisions out of regret and irritation over his own mistake. My $.02
Twitter was a thorn in his side. He couldn’t pay people to stop tweeting his flight locations, and he most certainly couldn’t silence the masses. My guess? If this survives long, we’ll eventually hear of Russian collusion with Musk to buy and operate Twitter. He’s already hinted at re-activating Trump, and this is the only real benefit for Musk in buying a social media platform.
Let's be honest he put 0% down. It was the geniuses at SoftaBank that gave him the money 💰 trying to make up losses from WeWoek meltdown 😄
Ego
Because he’s a raging narcissist.
This Twitter acquisition is going to be a popular case study in business schools as an example of what not to do.
It's the billionaire equivalent of buying a Charger at 30% APR then getting it totaled a week later... Don't forget he was sued to complete the deal because he was trying to back out
*buy Twitter (not bought)
Grammar Police 😉 Thanks!
