I see so many people leave Amazon and join qualtrics. Why are you doing that. Just for money or do you really like fucking surveys.
There are many directors/senior managers level people moved from amazon to qualtrics, and they lure the people they know ( and sometimes unknown people), as talking to someone from same company is perceived to be more trustworthy. Source: I was at amazon and talked to ex-amazonian in qualtrics.
In total, 2 Directors (one of them got CTO offer) and another one got Sr. Director and 1 Sr. manager went to Qualtris. These guys also went 2-3 years back when there was a room for growth. These guys were also not well known in Amazon. No recent move after SAP acquisition. But the pace at which Amazon is firing multiple Directors / Sr managers, they may end up in Qualtrics. Qualtrics is good option for PIPed Amazonians.
Mostly pipped folks at Qualtrics. However, pay is same or better.
Lol Someone’s salty
Well, that’s a reality. Have you seen a post with similar question in Q channel?
Sane WLB, better pay, smaller company that's growing means more opportunities for impact, etc.
Better or equal pay only for 3 years. After, nobody knows. Wlb indeed better. More opportunities, maybe but at a smaller scale.
Valid points. Here's hoping pay doesnt cliff too bad after 3rd year
Not sure about why TO qualtrcis, but for the FROM Amazon part, I myself was extremely unhappy with the team and pay. Many people leave Amazon once they get a better offer. Amazon is very frugal and has lots of horrible managers.
