Why do Indian restaurants stink

Is it difficult to make it decent smelling? Such a big turnoff. I just want good Indian food without having to sit in a smelly room.

It's relative .... my wife feels like throwing up in US McDonald's or a Chinese restaurant. She can't stand the smell of meat being fried.

Haha. So true.. I can't stand the smell of BBQ or fried meat.

For me BBQ is a heavenly smell ... I would eat BBQ every day if I could

Hahahaha, deodorant was invented so that dummies have something to spend their dollars on. Shampoo and conditioner? It's a Jedi mind trick and looks like these were not the droids you were looking for 😂😂

Yes we don’t put deodorants on our food , that’s our “problem”

I think the biggest issue is the ventilation here - curry smell (for that matter, any strong smelling foods like BBQ, Chinese food, etc) lingers on fabrics, carpet, etc longer as there is no fresh air circulating in most homes and restaurants - probably this problem is more prominently felt during winter when doors are kept closed round the clock.

“Is it difficult to make it decent smelling?” Literally impossible

You like Indian food, but not the smell???? That's odd. The smell is half the taste.

We love Indian food. I think it’s kinda like cilantro and fish water for some folks. You may have a reaction to the strong spices, especially cumin. So your ‘stink’ may be a medical condition. The only way to get better is to develop immunity. More chicken curry and chai tea for you

For that you would need to put a buttplug on all customers. The smell is due to involuntary farting that follows eating spicy Indian food.

Did you ever hear about uber eats?

A little bit of planning with proper exhaust / air purifier setup and the smells should be past, but obviously some Indian restaurants don't give a fuck.

Indian mythology says eating is why we exist. We were born to eat. During eating we need to experience all 5 senses. We use pressure cookers to make our digestive system kick in while cooking itself. Yeah, We eat fresh food mostly. This is the sense of sound. Our food comes in variety of colors. It looks awesome. The sense of vision. Our food has texture which varies. A typical indian meal has a curry and some solid. We eat with hand. This is to make sure the sense of touch is working. We use spices to arose the sense of taste. The smell you are talking about is a deliberate attempt to make your sense of smell working.

I really hope that you are joking.
