Why do companies use Workday app 🤦♂️
Whenever I have to apply through Workday, it just force me to go through redundant steps of copy and pasting my resume and wasting my time… Why do big companies(ex Adobe, Walmart, et ) use such a horrible application system.. And I am skeptical whether recruiters at these companies even look at applicants from Workday.. My success rate of getting interview is the worst with companies using Workday 😡 tc 185

Have you tried using the simplify web extension? I think you can add presets and have it fill out job applications for you. (It claims to be able to do workday forms.) Never used it though because I only heard about it after I got my offer. https://simplify.jobs/autofill
It solves the problem for the company. Your inconvenience is not visible to them unless you voice your concern.
Yeah it’s a pain but it works and in theory it is robust and integrates with the companies overall system. If they could do a general application to auto fill on every company, that would be great. Having said that, the latest offers I got where mostly workdays and some with greenhouse which is super direct.
hmm.. whats your secret sauce to success with Workday applications. Do you copy and paste resume or make modifications?
I try to make slight modifications that match more closely the requirements they ask for. This only to my top choices, because it is a pain.
Workday is shit in every aspect
It’s so trash. Enterprise HCM in general is a brutal market. The goliath adp is stuck in the Stone Age and behind the eight ball with cloud adoption. These companies suck when they try to be the jack of all trades. It’s always a better experience when a company uses a separate vendor for recruiting ATS. Trying to use workday for payroll+recruiting+performance management and so on delivers a poor experience for everyone involved

We only use a small portion of it. Yes it sucks.
