I live in South Carolina. For the first time, I’ve visited the Bay Area this week for some work trip. People around here act as if this is the most unique, God blessed place on earth and I just don’t find it that special. The city (SF) is average at best. The peninsula just looks like any other average suburban area in USA, with smaller and older houses. The prices are completely outrageous. South Carolina is nice - I’m not saying it’s special but in comparison it’s pretty good and I get the idea that people live a better life there. In the Bay everything seems extremely overpriced. Yet I don’t see people in South Carolina preaching how special that place is. What is it with people in CA acting as if they are in a superior one of a kind state? So far everything I’ve seen shows evidence on the opposite direction 😂 TC 230K
CA is so special
Less CO2
Nerds justifying the money they have locked up in CA real estate maybe 🤷♂️
Yeah go back to racist central SC
?????
Have you even been there?
Weather. In bay area you’re not gonna get tornadoes that destroy a whole building in the middle of the city, like they do in South Carolina
Fires destroy too, bro
Don’t forget earthquakes
Charleston used to be the best city in the country. Now it’s too popular
Agreed. People have lot of money but living is sub-par and not many opportunities to have fun
And the most special thing about SC is Nikki Haley
but we don’t go around saying SC is special
I don’t think god forsaken means what you think it does.
