I have used both Android and iOS and I feel like anything on the iPhone takes like 5 more clicks than it would on android! Plus I absolutely hate the inbuilt clock app and autocorrect of the iPhone! What is working for the iPhone that it is taking up so much market from android? Is it the style, camera, social status or something else? Blind tax - TC 320k
The ecosystem man. I got sucked into it too
AirPods, HomePod, Apple TV, iPhone, Apple Watch. Yeah, it got me too.
Everything u felt about iphone is what I felt in Android.
Limited features, but they work perfectly. Android is flaky and not as robust
lol, I switched to an iPhone 12 this past year and I am shocked how many crashes and random freezes and bugs this thing has. I hardly even close to this many issues with my Note 10. I assume maybe it’s just my experience but maybe this is what iPhone users consider normal. Most haven’t used any other device out of laziness.
It’s an exception, with android that is or atleast used to be the norm. I agree the gap between android and iPhone have narrowed over the years. But apple products have that X-factor
Because it’s easy
iOS is not feature rich in comparison to Android. However, it is safe, secure, stable and has great quality in comparison to Android. It is because of closed eco system of Apple. This has got great advantages to Apple for building quality products.
Ecosystem. It pairs nicely with my earpod, macbook, apple pay, apple watch
Yeah I think I agree on your point here. By far I feel the Apple Watch is my favorite product and has very little competition for it, Fitbit and others come nowhere near to the Apple Watch!
Apple Watch is great for light use. For everything else you need to have a Garmin or something that offers more sensors and longer battery
Tried using the iPhone for 2 years, hated it and moved back to Android. I do miss the ecosystem, connectivity with my Mac but it's still not worth the customisation imo. iPhone forces you to use your device in a specific way which didn't work for me but a lot of people don't mind it for the convenience of ecosystem.
I would say there are subtle details that you miss in Android phones. The way the logos are designed, the way you scroll through the home page apps etc gives you a richer feel in my opinion. I used Android until 2018 and then decided to switch to phone to see what makes everyone so addicted to iPhone and apple products. Though i still hate a lot of things about iPhone, the richness and the feel is way better than Android phones. Also even after 4 years my iPhone looks solid and same as it was on the day one-highly durable!! I dropped atleast 20 times. My friend who recently got samsung s22 was not satisfied with the durability of the home. I used one plus 6 before my current iPhone.
+1 on solidity and durability. Had Android for 6 years, had to change phone twice. Now I’ve got one iphone for the last 3 years and it still looks and feels mostly as new. So it ends up actually being cheaper in the long run. On the other hand, I have a pet peeve with the phrase: my iphone, my mac, my apple watch. Everybody talks like that including me. Do people say my Pixel, my Oneplus, my Windows. Sometimes I wish technology was just a tool
IPhone used to be much better than Android but for me that started changing from 2018 or so. Now I'm on Samsung and I love it. Top tier quality and innovative features

Social status. Nothing else. Pied piper leading the kids.
There's social status attributed to owning an iPhone?
