Why do some well-known companies hire outside of the US?
Tinder, Splunk and other well-known companies are hiring outside of the US (Location in the job posting isn’t the US). Are they starting to outsource for a part of the budget cut plan?

Yes, almost all big companies are doing this, big tech will be the last to follow the trend.
We hire employees in low cost countries for 25-40% the TC they would get in the US and they work remotely.
Performance is the same or better, you get to hire higher level talent (PhDs, erc) and attrition is lower since they are getting a high compensation in a LCOL area which no one else can offer.
