new out of college brats? Please Don't call them millennials. As one of the oldest millennials turning 40 soon, I feel insulted about my people 😛
Feedback taken, edited the post
I think they think they’ve achieved what most people think of as success. However, few if any actually understand what they’ve signed up for. Enjoy corporate life kids 😂
😂
Who can understand than fellow Amazonian! Toast for you bro!
You know you can just not follow them right? I find it nice folks have ambition. Better to suffer though hopeful posts like that than the usual recycled feel good posts from people trying to expand their reach.
I agree those are bigger bulshitters recycling same shit on job bosd n wlb
Hey man, don't ruin their illusion. Let them have a moment. Reality will catch up soon anyway
Millennials have long already graduated college. You’re referring to Gen Z now…
It's GenZ. They have to say the same bullshit in college essays and job interviews. They're playing the same game as everyone else
I've been bothered by this for a long time now. Both GenZ and millennials are guilty of shit posts like this, where there's some sort of humble brag going on. There's almost a template to it: "I feel so humbled and honored to have [insert pointless achievement]. Very grateful to [insert someone] for giving me the opportunity to [insert something that sounds like it will make an impact but it won't]. {Placeholder for laptop picture with company logo, swag, and coffee mug}
Thank you for the template!
It's not only them, folks leaving company and joining a new one are doing that as well. I definitely hate this trend.
ask them what they think in a year. let the kids pretend these jobs are a big deal until then. none of these companies are hard to get into the tc isn’t good enough to get rich unless you’re counting on large stock appreciation (below l8)
People looking for purpose and validation in life. Truth is it has to come from within.
