Imagine being a Phone Guy in 2024.

All my devices sync perfectly. iPhone, iPad, Mac, Watch, AirPods. Such convenience. Android what? Eww. 🤢
Android = Google spying on you Google is plugged in directly into FBI / CIA and who knows what else iOS = Apple spying on you Apple pays lip service to privacy.
longevity. my current iphone is 5.5 year old and it runs smoothly without any hardware issue
Poll options should be: 1. I use android 2. 🐑🐑🐑🤡🤡🤡
I tried using an Android phone but it was a POS. Of the Android phones, I hear the Pixel is solid and it isn’t stuffed with bloatware. I think Samsung could probably deliver a compelling alternative if they’d test their phones and not pre-install so much garbage.
A lot of times it's the carriers adding stuff. Apple does a vastly better job than the Android manufacturers on this front. The Pixel experience is outstanding for an Android phone and I doubt I'll be going back to a Samsung phone.
iPhone is well built and lasts long. But the UI is cluttered. They are too heavy. And have sharp edges for unknown reasons. Love my pixel. Round edges and light weight. Yes it started lagging within 1 year but I am rich enough to buy a new pixel every year instead of hauling a brick in my pocket.
1) Because Apple invented the smartphone as we know it today and iPhone is still a superior product—along with the rest of the Apple ecosystem. I love that I can AirDrop content seamlessly between my Apple devices. I love that my AirPods automatically switch from my Mac to my iPhone to my iPad to my Apple TV. I love that my Apple Watch is integrated with my iPhone (and AirPods) and my GymKit-compatible (Technogym MyRun) treadmill and that I can use it with Apple Fitness+ to track my metrics. 2) Because Google blatantly copied the iPhone and Android is still an inferior product. Apple and iPhone have yet to be dethroned. I’m old enough to remember 2007 when Steve Jobs introduced iPhone to the world and my mind was absolutely blown. 🤯 I purchased the first-generation iPhone and have been loyal since. “Android” was created after to replicate iPhone/iOS and is borderline IP theft. Apple would have pursued that legal angle much more aggressively had Google not been paying Apple many billions every year (and continues to do so today) to be the default search engine on iOS Safari—$18+ Billion/year as of 2021.
Android was created to replicate BlackBerry, but then they had to scramble and pivot once SJ dropped the bomb on the world 🤣
Value for money; I currently use a 2018 iPhone without any issue.
