Some company with the same size as rippling is Paycom and paylocity. Although they are low paying transitional company, they are actually looking good: stable growth, impressive profitability , sufficient cash. I wonder why they don’t invest more in R&D like workday . They are public companies and there should be some pressure to reinvest revenue. They just seem happy to generate healthy profit. Don’t they realize they will die soon this way?
Invest more in R&D? Do you know what Paycom even does? Our CEO said he hates his job and only does it because it pays the bills. He’s richer than Sundar Pichai.
Looking at the balance sheet, paycom and paylocity spend more than total revenue of rippling. This is a very silly question to ask, both the companies make overt 1B in revenue and are spending a healthy amount on rnd. Btw apple spends about 6% in rnd, should we assume they will die soon?
Paycom I think is trying to pivot to more R&D, though it’s hard to say if things will actually turn out that way. I spend most of my time patching bugs, but my team has some new projects on the way too. Not anything that really matters I think, but it’s something I guess.
We’ve got lots of r&d happening and coming soon
Have you listened to the Paycom CEO? Dude has no clue
