I understand Twitter has its problems and so does Tesla but like, at least they don’t lobby to keep the tax code complex? Intuit literally lobbies to make our lives worse so that they can keep their job. Oracle iirc also litigates over its ownership of Java with various companies like Google/Android (which could harm innovation?). Am I misinformed here? #tech
Who is the CEO of Intuit
Liberals are too dumb to understand tax code and litigation
The irony is that it is quite literally the other way around lol.
And Microsoft which is becoming the next oracle
Why to hate anyone for that matter ?
Oracle Cloud is streaking past the legacy providers and that is why it is popular with engineers.
Everyone hates Oracle though
Why?
true.
Yes you are misinformed. Tesla doesn't lobby ? You must be living under a rock. Lol.. they just got tax credit extended for tesla. All companies lobby. Some are more public than others.
And tesla also got Austin taxpayers to invest a Billion into career training so they can require their workforce to obtain associates degrees for manufacturing work. Why can't tesla foot the bill?
Right, I guess I should have clarified - the distinction is that Tesla lobbies for its own gain without necessarily harming folks / making their lives worse. Whereas HR Block and Intuit are literally just lobbying to keep the tax code complex (which is making normal folks lives worse). I’d be happy if you tried to convince me otherwise on this point
Who said no one hates intuit or oracle? 😆
Intuit CEO had big shoes to fill and he is struggling. The Intuit now isn’t the Intuit it used to be.
