Apple is a public company just like Google Msft and Meta but I basically never hear about Apple doing mass hiring and then mass layoffs. How does Apple do headcount and hiring budget planning? Is Apple just that well run compared to other tech giants? TC 200K
Because apple only goes up.
Because, whenever there is a slight chance of revenue loss, they launch an old iphone with a new version number.
Hee hee hee
Apple has iPrestige for both their jobs and their products
The secret is there's no headcount planning because of incompetence. It's like Titanic celebrating its uniqueness. Before it found its iceberg.
Donโt be jealous
Probably because it's mostly a hardware company and that product cycle is planned out way further in advance than software releases.
This helps
Well I can say we have 3 people on my team doing more than when I was at a lean startup with 6 people. Previous faang I worked had 15 and offshores team with less work then my current team. Basically we're understaffed and don't waste our time on scrum.
Understaffed is an understatement
Apple is chronically understaffed. Google is chronically overstaffed.
