Company just went through a massive layoff. Would not be surprised if they are still paying severance on that. Are these real positions being advertised?
They are just there for fun.. don’t worry
Google started hiring 2 weeks after layoffs
It's real 🤷 they just revamped some screening processes and had internal engineers test it. Seems completely tone deaf to me from all angles
Layoffs were done just to show who hold your balls and to show that if you perform low , you will be booted. Snap has started hiring and hiring will continue
Pretty much every company did that after layoffs - google , Amazon , Stripe , asana , the list goes on
Backfilling resignations. There’s nothing wrong with that
Backfilling and changing directions. It’s a really small number that are being hired. Obviously looks tone deaf but I wouldn’t read anything into it. We 100% are not hiring to GROW headcount.
No idea if they are. If they are real, my guess would be that they said they were cutting projects, but investing in other areas that will generate revenue.
