I can’t believe I wasted my time interviewing at this place. Got a “senior staff” offer and it’s lower than my “senior” tc. Did not even bother negotiating, ended the call. Probably will end up taking Netflix or continue interviewing. Want to hear from ServiceNow folks if this is the norm for Senior Staff… #servicenow #netflix #airbnb

They really dodged a bullet there. You likely bombed the interview, I had a senior staff offer from them back in 2020 which was at around 500k

And yeah “I had a 500k offer” bullshit, I went on levels.fyi after recruiter gave me the numbers and I am not seeing any 500k offers, they are similar to my numbers. So did everyone that posted on levels.fyi bomb the interview too but they ended up extending offers? What shit logic is this

Agree, I was stupid to just jump into the interview. I did ask the recruiter and his answer was “our pay is competitive with FAANG”
My first minute of a conversation is my minimum expectation. And recruiters know if they can't reach it, I won't join. We don't waste each other's time. Not sure why he went through the whole interview process instead of just saying, "I will not take anything lower than my current TC." For 7 YoE years, remote, $370K is very competitive with FAANG. OP, you wasted their time by not doing the research.
