Why is YouTube Music recommendation algorithm so bad?

This is coming from a customer who wanted to take advantage of Music with no ads alongside the premium purchase. Almost 8 months later I finally made the switch to a much recommended Apple Music and was blown away how much immediately I fell in love with it. YouTube Music -I like a song, it’ll keep recommending me it and suggesting the same until I’m sick of it. -I dislike the above song I then don’t get any similar recommendations -I have to constantly manually look up artists that I like, manually like their songs and hope it’ll come up next in my super mix playlists -It’ll then just recommend me those songs that I liked and nothing else pretty much There’s 0 recommendations, 0 predictive algorithms and just relies on user input to input the liked songs into a playlist and randomize it and present Apple Music -I like a few songs to get me started, immediately recommends me similar songs and artists that I might like and it just keeps going! -Continues to amaze me with how I discover new artists I never knew with music I love
