That's a problem with first past the post voting, while everyone gets one vote. Need a weighted voting system, but that could be too complicated for the masses, besides needing compute power, and thus, vulnerability to hacking.
I'd rather throw it away on a party with principles and + numbers in their favor (6% to get in the debates?) if it's not going to move the needle either way
