Why pc slower than mac
For two equal spec devices, Mac seems to way outperform Windows PCs. Does this come down to the level of optimization MacOS has over Windows? Genuinely curious. Calling for @Apple geniuses to unpack this please. Side note: I f&*king hate Win11. It's extra choppy relative to Win10 #apple #microsoft #tech

There is no way MacOS outperforms Linux running bare metal. Something like Debian running on a Threadripper or top end Xeon is a gad damn beast.

XPS is one of the best windows laptops and its build quality is still no where as good as MacBooks
It’s for being able to optimize the software for the hardware and vice versa, and iteratively, both of which Apple owns, including the chips.
