I found around 700 Microsoft alumni in TCS. I checked it because I came to Microsoft from TCS. Just curious why would someone go the other way around? Not only salary is the concern, the work culture sucks unless you are in some really great project. #tataconsultancyservices #wipro
I knew someone who worked for CTS but his client was Microsoft. He shamelessly put his title as Microsoft. This was right after masters. I remember our class girls were gushing on the group chat that he’s so smart etc. But that’s as good as it gets. Once you have a conversation with them you will quickly find out.
AMD so you wanted the girls gushing around you 😚😂😂😂🤣 Why do I smell of jealousy?
They wanted to turn his software into hardware
Most of them might be contractors, interns, short-term stint due to layoffs, acquisitions, end client as Microsoft etc.
Maybe due to onsite opportunities?
There's CV title inflation as well... were you a college ambasaador for Microsoft, now you say you have 3-6 months of experience "working" for Microsoft...
Have seen some folks even add Google/Microsoft even if all they did is some certification course from them.
Microsoft is not FAANG.
Did you check how many of them went at director+ levels ? At higher levels, money and work culture are comparable between faang and witch.
Not at all comparable. I can assure you.
