Read one of their “culture PR” articles. They made it sound that running a streaming service is like rocket science. How about increasing that streaming movie selection?
Everyone's getting greedy which hurts their ability to have a streaming movie selection. Look at Disney trying to make their own streaming service. Scrubs cost $26 million per year, Lost $45 million. $71 million for one year for just two shows. You act like it's easy (and cheap) to negotiate for the rights to stream these. Why do you think Netflix is going so hard for original content?
I was speaking from a tech perspective. Btw I do know a thing or two about “signal acquisition” thanks to buddies at Hulu and Google :)
