Just heard this app called Temu from a friend today. I can buy an iphone case for 0.99 on this app instead of paying $12 for the same case on Amazon. They can do this because they cut the middleman and sell directly from Chinese vendors to users. In my opinion, Amazon FBA and other fees are too high. When this app Temu gets popular, they can be a real competitor to Amazon.
Hard to say, but I get the impression the products may just be a step above Wish
When I try to buy stuff on Amazon it’s mostly Chinese knock offs anyway
What makes temu different from wish?
My dad bought a bunch of stuff from Temu but half of them are low quality and scams/don’t work. It’s super unreliable
Hello Temu CEO 🙋
Did you place an order though?
Of course. They are the same item. Price on Amazon is much higher since the third-party seller needs to pay FBA and other fees for Amazon and they also keep a part of it as their profit.
Whatever happened to Alibaba
They usually have a minimum order volume suitable for wholesalers not really individuals
AliExpress is more comparable.
Wish tried this and it ended up just being an app that gives away free crack pipes
Wish is poorly run. Temu is a part of PDD. If you know PDD, you will not look down on Temu.
Oh ya pdd is chill
Amazon has diversified beyond e-commerce such that it’s nearly impossible to ever replace them.
Temu is everywhere now! Lol reminds me of shien
No. I only buy well established brands from Amazon.
Good mooring
